About The Artwork
These series of photographs, which intended to be a series of group portraits, began not as a project, but rather as a freely and not planned way to take some pictures that depict peoples leisure and pleasure. In Brazil, the beach is the perfect place to pass the time, and also a unique place where all the many layers of society: the rich, the poor, the black, the mulato, the white, etc…mix together. It starts as a way to record it with movement and almost like a dream scape
