About The Artwork
It was a summer day when I went to the sea, to find the beach covered in mist. A pregnant women was gazing in distance to the nothingness that covered everything. She was feeling only the breeze. I took a photo of this gazing moment. After that, I found a closed building with a wooden chair in the big room, that could be seen from outside. After that, this collage idea came in my mind to place the woman next to the chair like she was waiting for someone to come - a husband, a lover, someone close to her. That chair gives you either the impression that she just raised from the chair to gaze into distance, or she gazes for so long that she will need to sit in order to rest.
