PRINT DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Whitewall Orbits" The rotating holes in this hub come alive with the black and white tones, and as if the shot has interrupted an orbit. Spatial relationships are characteristic of classic auto closeups. I was thrilled to find a composition that held all the elements (the black and white are nearly symmetrically balanced). There’s a crispness created by the chrome and contrasts well the white opaqueness that rotates about the image, while playing off the drama at the center. A motion implied through some softening of the fender also heightens the impact. PRINT DETAILS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Limited to an edition of 35 regardless of size. This means I will produce only 35 original signed prints of this image regardless of size. This print will be printed with a 1 1/2" border that will be signed & numbered and will also include a Certificate of Authenticity. The image will be printed using archival inks and Moab Papers Slickrock Metallic Pearl Fine Art Paper. This paper is 260gsm, Pearlescent Metallic. Please note that the estimated production time (delivery time not included) is 10-15 working days as this limited edition artwork is made to order.

Brandon LeValley (1954) is a photographic artist from the United States. In 1976 he graduated from Washington State University where his Bachelor’s Degree included Art studies. He’s always had a passion for photography. That desire was fueled early in life when he was still shooting film and utilizing a darkroom to process images. Holding a final print offered a world of experience seeing how the light on a subject materialized. Years later he realized the digital camera had revolutionized processing. Today, he converts most images to black and white and often shoots botanicals for their dramatic lines and shape. He’s also drawn to architecture and landscapes. Living near Joshua Tree National Park provides many dramatic configurations that come from his explorations. While his journey in photography has evolved, it’s often ignited by striking lighting. He’s fascinated by the abstract and uses every tool to achieve a finished composition. A unique image, he believes, comes about by a disciplined and oftentimes exhaustive approach. Knowing the payoff can be rewarding, that commitment to detail ultimately renders a more compelling work.
