"Woman" This photograph is a part of my video-photography project on Eroticism, which I initiated in 2021. In-depth, my project involves conducting interviews with both women and men, allowing them to explore and share their personal experiences with eroticism. Subsequently, I capture photographs that encapsulate the essence of their narratives. Participants in this project have described the experience of erotic photography as having profoundly positive implications. These include an increase in body esteem, feelings of empowerment, and the ability for women to see themselves as sexual beings, ultimately providing them with the opportunity to create a sexual image in a photograph on their own terms.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and documentary photographer based in Italy, operating between Italy and London. With an initial background in Economics and corporate experience in Italy, I transitioned to photography after discovering an old 35mm Praktica on a London street. In London, I completed a certificate in Photographic Professional Practice at St Martin's College of Arts, followed by a full-time course in analogue photography and darkroom printing. Subsequently, I delved into the world of freelance press photography, working as a paparazzo for three years. My artistic focus revolves around the profound trust in human relationships. Since 2013, I've been documenting impactful stories in London, addressing topics like sexuality, gender equality, prejudice, love, abuse, negative thinking, and illness. I explore the depths of individuals through self-discovery, often engaging in conversations with strangers encountered online or on the street. Using photography as a therapeutic medium, I confront myself in the process. Photography becomes a live, performative act, where art materialises in the moment of connecting with another human being. The observer becomes the observed, and in the mirror, the person is reflected. In 2018, I joined Action Hybride, a Paris-based collective of international artists. The collective focuses on organising interviews, films, exhibitions, performances, and talks related to the body, memory, and the human condition. I have exhibited internationally in cities including London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Rome, Brindisi, and Taranto.
