About The Artwork

Video Game, Chaos. 'Entangled in pixels, millions of happy spectrums transmit sparkling electric beats in racing speed taking away all sleep, not very sweet. Teleported to kingdoms of many realms on presses of swollen thumbs. Anything is possible here, continents of distant tenses float in air. Look closely and you will see all shapes walk and talk there. Only happy endings are painted here.' by Umber Panezai Glowing luminously in rich jewel juices is a digitally etched space in bold intense graphics of an electric world built from colour in part memory and part imagination brings to life a puzzle made of electronic action sequences. An intricate enigma, forming large patterns from smaller patterns churning out a mesmerizing chaos.

I the eternal seeker, born 1983 in Muscat, Oman. Umber, a textile artist graduated from the Royal College of Art London, MA Textiles specialising in weave. And received a BA hons in textiles from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Upon graduating from the Royal college of Art I explored the many possibilities of combining textiles and fine arts to expand my visual interpretation. My process in all is experimental, chaotic, laborious, fun and detailed orientated. The pleasure derived from the arduous process of intricate movements is deeply transformative to me as it is to yarn becoming fabric or colour that takes shape into a painting. Enticed by the mesmerising beauty in detail my work meditates and grows from here. I use every part of myself to express my inner world. My work includes varied mediums of traditional painting, hand weaving, mixed media, videography, photography, digital and textiles. The dance between light and shadows, the mind and hands ,the heart and time, the eyes and memories that creates the unspoken language of creation is where I explore. I take inspiration from the limitless imagination of everything that can be has been and felt in all its layers of time. Always keeping love and joy in all I do. A trained weaver with an eager paint brush, it is the hypnotic music of colour that determines my creating force.
