Ayesha. The Butterfly Prophetess Collage

the most charming character of a Salman Rushdie novel “The Satanic Verses”. the painting must have been finished in summer 2016. however I couldn’t find any solution. and the picture remained unfinished until July 2017. that was the day when we discuss about the opening date for my exhibition in “Tiflis Brunch” art cafe. I decided to hang the unfinished work. the same day I moved in new studio. the room was closed for a while before. and when the owner opened the door and we stepped inside, we saw the room full of dead butterflies scattered on all over the floor. I felt like as if Ayesha herself was here recently. I collected all little bodies carefully with tweezers and fulfilled the painting.
