About The Artwork
Human Drama is my new series of digital collages in big format, 2018. I started to work on this concept after my last visit to Mexico City, it´s connected to my experience of returning to that megalopolis of 27 millions of inhabitants. I continue with the work line of collages in black and white, every artwork contains houndreds of layers, images taken from the Internet, who reinterprets and appropiates history and art history. A pile of bodies one above other, generation after generation. The humanity on the edge of history. It's about life and about going from life to life, like immortal coils. The human drama of life, the eternal drama of humanity. The series is related to several artists and their artworks like Rodin's The Gates of Hell - Blake's Paradise Lost, Jeronimus Bosch, Francisco de Goya and The Chapman Brothers.

In Mexico, United States, Canada, Germany, Spain and Croatia. Lives and works in Split Croatia.
