Practicing Patience 2 Collage

Inkyung Kwon graduated from department of oriental painting, Hongik University with bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degrees. Through a series of works with Room of Individual and Imagined Memories and others, Inkyung Kwon attempts overlap of old book collage, ink line and coloring from various viewpoints and paints city laid in constantly changing time and people’s times and memories living in the city space coexisting with others. She has participated in nine solo exhibitions in France and Korea and more than a hundred times of group exhibitions in China, France, German, England, America, etc. Her works are housed in various galleries including Art Bank of National Museum of Contemporary Art, Yangpyeong Art Museum and installed at Seoul Eastern District Prosecutor’s Office, Chungbuk National University Hospital, Jeongneung Station, etc.
