American Flag Drawing

This painting was inspired by the American flag that hangs above my bed. I see the American flag as an interesting geometric pattern with bright, crisp colors, but also as a symbol of patriotism and freedom. With the help of modeling paste and palette knives, a relief of white and red stripes was created. In this work, gold leaf of red and blue tint is used, which gives a special charm and radiance when considering the picture from different points of view. White stripes are covered with mother-of-pearl acrylic paint. Silver stars are voluminous. The ends of the picture are painted over. The last layer of varnish retains the color for many years and protects the picture from dust and UV rays.The signature and title of the work are on the back of the paintingReady to hang - no additional framing required.
