About The Artwork
This is an artistic impression of the Cambrian Sea; a period in evolution when a gigantic diversity of life emerged. "Where does the light come from?" asked the fish. "Is there a world beyond the water's edge?" No one answered. The millions of creatures teeming on the ocean floor, with their shiny shields, sinuous legs and bizarre eyes, did not know where they came from or where they were going. "I'll go see for myself," the fish decided, and crawled ashore.
