About The Artwork
The "PurpleLine" was inspired by a portrait photograph I came upon on the internet. The purple line I added behind the woman represents everything we behind us that we still keep in our head, which motivates us and helps move forward. It is a part of a series of drawings made in January 2018, done by graphite pencil and watercolours on A4 sketching paper. This drawing series also helped me form my own style that I use most often when creating portraits.
