Saltwater Crocodile is a mural full of movement and expression. The crocodile swims in the waters just with the snout and eyes above the water to hunt for the next meal. This crocodile is angry and sad. The gestural marks around the subject is lively with long powerful strokes of charcoal, chalk, and ink. The water marks around the eyes look like tears streaming across the face. This reflects Tang's struggle at school when there was complaint about charcoal dust, and she explored other mediums to dominate this mural.

Canada
Fiona Tang is an internationally recognized Artist from Vancouver, BC, Canada. She is most well known for her mural sized animal drawings that appear to 'leap out' of the drawing. Her hope is to minimize the distance between humans and animals by having her viewers interact with her animals emotionally and physically and be overwhelmed with a sense of vulnerability and wonder by the sheer size.
