About The Artwork
Pastel-conte on canvas 52x82 cm Part of the Nudes of the world series. The original photo belongs to amazing photographer Patrick Gomme. I've been working on this series for over two years with the help of models, photographers and people in general that I've met trough social networks and kindly let me use they'er photos for this series. In turn, this is an attempt to mitigate pains of the past , memories of eroticism and exorcise these memories through figurative drawing and occasionally with raw expressions of stroke.

Artist born in Colombia, after more than a decade of not working on art I decided to leave everything behind and dedicate myself to my passion again. I've been living a life away from the production of art but carrying the principles of art in my daily life, with successes and failures, which led me back to work in my profession. Since I started working on the drawings, I always captive the human body, first scanning it with photography then evolve to figurative drawing. I'm in a process of self discovery, recovery and awakening of my artistic being, after so many years of neglect.
