Turtle Island is a mural of three unique leatherback turtles that represent different chapters in Tang's life.

In both the aboriginal and asian culture, there is a myth that turtles are related to the creation of the world. It is said that they carry the world on their backs. Here, Tang has three different turtles that carries three different worlds. In the foreground is her birth city in Hong Kong. This leatherback turtle carries on its back signature cityscapes and the neighbourhood that she spend 11 years of her life at. There is a clock painted on the top of the black and yellow building towards the right, which in real life changes colours every 15 minutes to tell the time. The colour depicted represents Fiona’s birth time. The turtle further back on the right carries Canada Place on its back, representing her present life in Vancouver. The turtle in the background toward the left is her future, with a blank back which represents the unknown future.
