About The Artwork
What/who inspired the work? As I experienced epilepsy, I became interested in electrical signals in my head. And I thought our heads were like light bulbs. Like light bulbs, life produces light and energy. I draw that figure in my own way. What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? I hope you think that living beings are shining on the body and spirit. If the light of life understands and comforts me and others, the world will change for the better. Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? This painting is a portrait designed for all individuals who own the inner world. I believe that there is light and the world inside an individual. Individuals with consciousness create their own world based on their own experiences. So people have their own unique scenery in their minds. I wanted to express it in this series.

Korean Painter Born in 1997, Lives and works in South Korea. I paint the light that I experienced. This light originated from my disease, epilepsy. I visualize the screen with ideas derived from the creepy light I face in my work. The screen I composed is about the colorful light surrounding me and the world, symbolizing the soul and life from my perspective. Among the materials of the painting, artificial lighting, such as light bulbs, neurons, and neon signs, is a meaningful medium that makes you feel simple comfort and empathy for trauma. This is why filament with different light, wire and temperature is used for work. My soul through my art. This is to confirm that people's souls are alive and to remind them of the importance of life.
