According to Borges, "aleph" is "a symbol of transfinite sets, where the whole is no greater than any of its parts," "one of the points in space where all other points are gathered," "a place in which, without blending, all the places on earth are found, and you see them from all sides." Every moment of a person's life is all moments gathered into one point. Each individual human brain that comprehends itself, the moments of its life, and its position in space - that is the Aleph. This painting is multilayered, and it took around 1 year to create.
