About The Artwork
Inspired by the amazing sculpture work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, this painting follows the Greek myth and cuptures the imaginary moment of awkward silence before Apollo expresses his feelings to Daphne and the concequential fight. Through this painting I want to cupture a different perspective than Bernini. In my painting there is no captor and victim but two figures of the same strength and weaknesses.
