About The Artwork
This my first painting after months of practicing and experimenting, represents everything I was craving for during the pandemic lockdown. Nature, outdoors, fresh air. This Avila image gave me that. A mountain range that defines Caracas north border and separates the city from the coast is our lungs, and navigation reference. The acrylic shades and layers on this canvas panel are many and the city suggested with impressionist attempts of brush strokes shows the red whites and concrete yellowish tones buildings and houses, signature of our city.
