The most popular hypothesis is that the prehistoric monster "Nahuelito" was a survivor from the time of the dinosaurs, probably a "plesiosaur". A more modern (and more elegant) version suggests that the Nahuelito would have been a strange mutation of some local animal, the result of nuclear experiments that went on non-stop for 60 years. There are also theories about a submarine of unknown origin, but none of them have been proven. Interestingly, a large number of reports throughout history claiming to have had contact with this creature have overlapping descriptions: they said it was an animal measuring 10 to 15 meters in size, with humps and leathery skin, which is surprising, since this description is very close to what the Mapuches who inhabited the area did about 200 years ago. In conclusion, during my visit to Lake Nahuelito did not appear. Although some dark spot was visible in the distance on the lake at sunset. Well, better luck next time! :) The painting was painted on Pastelmat pastel paper. I use professional pastels from Unison, Mount Vision, Schmincke, Sennelier, Rembrandt. A certificate of authenticity will be enclosed. Will need to be framed with glass upon arrival. If you want the painting to be sent framed, please contact me. Depending on your monitor settings, the colors may appear slightly different.

My name is Nadia Bedei, I am an artist. I have been drawing all my life, I am a member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS). I work in the genres of portrait and landscape. Most of my work is done in pastels. I chose pastel, it is ideal for me: a combination of the tenderness of the material and the power of possibilities. I use only high quality professional pigments and a foundation that allow my creations to last for centuries. I like to paint light and movement in all their variety. I work mainly in my studio in Buenos Aires, transferring the impressions of what I saw to the picture and reflecting subtle nuances, creating a unique impression in my works.throughout life, depending on what or who we encounter. For me, at the moment, it was formed from observing the change of light and the plasticity of movements. I love the sea and mountains very much, there are many of them in my landscapes. At the same time, I like to portray the immediacy of animals or the characteristics of people.
