It is about illustrating a still life in a constructivist style. I am interested in communicating a style that Maestro Torres García created and that has been modified over the years, and much appreciated by Uruguayan painters.

Uruguay
Uruguay is a third world country then is very difficult the art market. Most visual artists sell their work abroad or tourist sites. The ilucion living painting is very hard in a place with 3 million inhabitants and more than 20 thousand people between artists and craftsmen. For this reason, my work tries to be more research to maintain a commercial style. It took more than 45 years learning to paint. .When I was 13 years old, I collaborated in the murals of the National Customs building under the responsibility of the artist Augusto Torres Piña. This experience, although very brief (two weeks), marked my vocation for painting. As I express it below, in my country it is very difficult to live from art, because young people are not taught to perceive true art in any of its disciplines. At the time of the military dictatorship I got married and had to emigrate to Argentina where I lived selling wood carvings made by me, to regional souvenir shops. In 1976 I returned to Uruguay and began to study Sanitary Installations, in 1980 I was appointed as a drawing, technology and workshop teacher. In 1981 I started with my own company of Sanitary Installations (plumber), during this time I only drew construction plans and painted in a casual way as a hobby. In 1993, in a fatal car accident, two of my three children died and as a therapy I began to paint again, in 1995 I did a course in oil techniques with María García. in 2002 I did a course with maestro Giacoya. In 2008 I was partially blind due to diabetes, today I have recovered 60% of my vision, in 2014 I retired and I started studying at the National School of Fine Arts, where I did a year of perception and plastic language
