About The Artwork
Copacabana beach has many hard-working sellers walking up and down the length of the long beach every day, selling everything from sunhats, beers, sunglasses to shrimps. . . This guy was selling hats and he used an old pipe to balance his colourful hats on. You can see Sugar loaf mountain in the background and the sea which is never calm! I used a larger brush for the sea and visible brush marks and splashes of paint to capture the movement of the ocean.
