Here I just wanted to do something a lot freer after having spent three days aching over a much more detailed and refined piece. I wanted something colourful and energetic and I liked the idea of two staring eyes peeping through. The title was a suggestion from a friend and I really liked it. To me it meant enjoying the haphazardness of life and embracing all your fuck ups and your little (or BIG) victories too!!

J A C Bezer is an English artist based in Barcelona, Spain. Self-taught, his interests lie in portraiture, figurative, and abstract painting. His focus for the last year has been his collection of bird paintings. Each is an oil painting of a bird on top of and abstract background painted in acrylics. In this collection he is interested in the juxtaposition between the formless abstract backgrounds and the crispness and detail on the birds on top. He divides his time teaching, painting originals and working on commissions.
