Cool Fire is a song which inspired this acrylic on canvas creation from Michael Todd Morrison. The bold and vivid colors pop off the canvas. Using various techniques, the portions of the plant come off the canvas creating a unique contrast and image of the painting to bring it more to life to the viewers eyes. Abstract is my style, and love horticulture, so it was only natural to bring this creation in bright colors, like nature has to offer us. This painting is 18" x 24" and is on canvas. Born and raised near the beach in Southeast Texas, have lived in many different states and countries, currently live on the coastal waters of Galveston bay. Being a "Renaissance Man" as my friends call me, my wealth of knowledge has matured over the years and shows in my work. With over 35 years of painting and photography, I continue to grow and refine my creations. 2015 was in 100 buses in Raleigh area with Art on the Move for most of the year. I have won several awards, in galleries, and currently on display at the USDA Gallery in Washington, D.C. I grew up around nature. Horticulture, flowers, and various works in wood, stone, and other media have moved me to painting on acrylic on canvas and other media.
