Impressionist painting of a wildflower meadow. This is based on photographs taken on a recent field trip with my art group to a local nature reserve near Lough Neagh. The strong colour of the delicate poppies moving on a breeze was the inspiration for this piece. Moving gently as if dancing above the other flowers. Acrylic on canvas board, 20 x 16 ins, palette knife and brush. Unframed. Certificate of authenticity included.
