Deep Waters Painting

This is an abstract painting expressing waters. Waters on a dark subconscious level that run through dreams. The state of water in my dreams can run from placid lakes to oceans frozen solid with golden dragons running under the surface. I some dreams, the waves are blue and crisp, in some oily and thick and smashing at the shore. In one, my mother who had passed walked with my brother and I down a path where water at our side went from a trickling to a stream to a river and then we arrived at the ocean. She proclaimed that this is where we all come to, a great eternal ocean. This is basically inexpressible to me, but this abstract is a shadow of all the rivers, paricularly in the darkness of dreams.
