"Defenestration by Stamp" is the first oil painting in the "Chao" Series. It is a critique on the overwhelming bureaucracy of everyday life. The pointless formal requirements of even the most simple of tasks can be overwhelming and depersonalising for most people, leaving them voiceless, faceless, and buried under countless old cardboard files. In addition to being mostly oil paint, it also contains dried moss, lichen, wood, metal, and cardboard.
