About The Artwork

Gorillas are the largest primates and are known for their strength and intelligence. They live in the forests of central and western Africa, mainly in Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. There are two types of gorillas, the eastern and western gorilla, each with different subspecies. Gorillas are herbivores, and their diet consists of leaves, stems, fruit, and bark. They are social animals, living in groups called troops consisting of one or more adult males, several females, and their young. Each troop has a distinct hierarchy, with the dominant male leading the group.
