About The Artwork
This is a series of four paintings, each 24" x 8" x 1", equaling 32" x 24" all together. This series can be displayed together on a mounting or as individual paintings. I developed this series straight out of a meditation on expanding my evolution as an artist. I loved the play of using just paint to create depth and texture by working wet on wet, two contrasting colors. The forms are all in a state of growth and organic movement, expanding themselves through progressive layers of depth in color and hues. It represents a slow and methodical expansion, one building upon the other, just as we develop in our own lives. Each step we take in our thoughts, brings about another incremental step further, pushing our evolution toward greater wisdom.

I paint to connect with the flow of life. I allow the liquid love to spill out of me and onto my canvas. The colors indicate my feelings and emotions as they illustrate my inner guidance. I do this through painting and creating expressions of my feelings. Each day as I approach the blank canvas, I sit and get quiet with my thoughts and emotions toward the process. My soul is trying to sing it’s song with the textures and effects. When I break the barrier of human thoughts my visual voice rings out with it’s own form of poetry, I feel deeply the hope for clarity and purity of spirit. I believe our thoughts form our reality. I create these thoughts as images on the canvas to keep me focused on my expansion and evolution. My paintings have a great deal to do with my spiritual evolution and how I create my paradise. Each painting is a different piece of the puzzle that makes up my emotional grounding that forms my reality.
