About The Artwork
I always love the art of Čiurlionis. Even being small I could not distract my eyes from his work, I enjoy his music. Erika's painting is a real emotional bomb, triggering just a dare to stop, accept, and feel. However, mystery, mysticism, cosmic-cosmogonic themes are connecting these two artist. The gaze of both creators is shaking towards heaven, stars, sun, moon, galaxy, universe, cosmos. In the paintings devoted to Čiurlionis, the author conveyed nature, lyrics, and their spell. This painting was created with Čiurlionis classical music. The author commented that in this canvas the layers of earth, air and water, coated with a magic shell covered with gold dust, were cut off with golden rays..
