About The Artwork
"Flow" is a new work that continues with my series of colour fields. I work a lot on composition and balance and there is always some gesture of investigating with the superimpositions of colours and their luminescences. It is acrylic and pigments on casein glue on cotton duck canvas. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and artwork is ready to hang. Framing is not required. It is signed on the front and on the back and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity. It is signed in front and behind.

Annabel Andrews was born in the Isle of Wight in 1940 now lives and works in El Escorial near Madrid Spain, where the colour, light and volumes of the mountains inspire her work. As also her friendship with the late Spanish artists Pablo Palazuelo and Jose Guerrero. By preparing her own canvases with home made casein glue base and zinc white the work is light and luminous ready for applying acrylic colours.
