When it finished
Flower Sermon by Buddha, that started the Zen branch of Buddhism.
They want to feel a person narrating a story of a flower to them in silence, a silent expression and an eternal lesson.
I am a Printmaker, I wanted to further work on a collograph print. The yellow boxes at the back are an abstract form of a Chest, depicting a starving Buddha and how Fasting is prescribed in every famous religion of the world. On top I wanted to show a realistic ribcage as well but in a transparent and almost hidden way. The flower is a Turkish stylisation they use in Illumination. It is my own concentration and subject of choice and study since long now out of any other Islamic Art style in the world.
