Funnily enough I was inspired by a photo of my daughter that we took during a late sunset one time, the photo was her siluete jumping in the air with a motionblur that kinda made her look like a ghost, and I wanted a painting of mine to represent a similar look.
And like that my new painting "Freedom" was made, and I quite like the result, (especically since I was worried the object at front would ruin the backround that I liked) and it definetly gives a similar atmosphere as the photo. :D

And I hope my viewers see that look that I was going for! As always the subject and medium is what I commonly use to create my works: acrylic paint on canvas and love.

Hello! My name is Irina and I live in a small town in Lithuania. I have traveled many places, especially Europe which I love immensely. Most of my life I have worked as professional interior and furniture designer as well as a painter not only on a canvas but other surfaces as well (walls, furniture, etc.). I had orders form Sweden, Denmark, Norway and of course Lithuania. I also have many paintings in the hands of collectors in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Lithuania and Norway. The most rewarding thing is seeing the responses that people make about my finished art. The joy in their faces is what drives me forward as an artist.
