"Gimme Gimme Gimme' is inspired by a recent trip to the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, where wild volcanic landscapes, desert dunes and exotic plants are juxtaposed with the beach bars, shopping malls and the bright lights and pumping music of the tourist hot spots. The painting is ready to hang with deep painted edges. In June 2016 an adaption of this painting was published in The Guardian newspaper, The Royal Academy's website and Dazed.com alongside internationally renowned artists, including Wolfgang Tillmans, Michael Craig Martin, Antony Gormley, Eva Rothschild and Rankin as part of the Stronger in Europe poster campaign where. The image was also selected as The Guardian Image of The Week.
