Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQ3eBs94Ccs&t Title: "Girl in a turban. Painting from the movie "Green book 2018". 100% hand-painted by Ekaterina Ostanina (Frida Ostin). Year of creation: 2020, April Size: 79.5x59.5 cm, 31.1x23.2 insh You know, My father used to say, “Whatever you do, do it a hundred percent. When you work, work. When you laugh, laugh. When you eat, eat like it’s your last meal.” Tony Vallelonga (Quote from the movie) What a beautiful bohemian lady! Can you overlook her turban? And those lips? Her languid look tells us that she is not an easy thing. I think you are one of those who would dare to speak to her. Contrasting red and black shades give this painting austerity and give luxurious grace. This poster show at the movie very beginning when the orchestra is playing. This painting attracts attention, as all real stars. I hope that my unbridled love for watercolors helped to make this painting 100%, as Tony's father bequeathed to us. The stunning painting process, you can see on the Internet by the link in my profile SaatchiArt. I don’t sell the originals of this painting because I don’t want it to belong to just one person. I created the "Film and Painting" project to give people the opportunity to watch them live, but if you really like some painting, you can buy a print of this work for a small amount.

Since childhood, drawing has been my favorite pastime. I need art like air. For me, painting is a way to stop time. Silence. Real magic. Today we are oversaturated with visual information, the speed of our life has become inhuman. In the age of capitalism, consumerism, globalization, and endless noise, a person is lost in an existential search, forgetting that he is a creator. I contrast painting with an ever-running and changing world. Through my work, I try to convey my admiration for color, drawing inspiration from the diversity of nature. My paintings are always colorful and cheerful. I give my preference to the most graceful and noble materials - oil, watercolor, pastel. These materials are for me like the best sonorous orchestra, which helps me play the most beautiful symphony. Let these color paintings become a small door to the big magical world of your soul.
