About The Artwork
Space journal-log 3539-year 3039 AE 3039 Years Ago we were forced to leave Earth, our only option was to find another home. We will always remember the Pale Blue Dot, and we will never forget the mistakes that we’ve made there. We traveled beyond star systems, nebula's and quasars; we changed, we evolved, we've become star people, The tragic destiny of our home bounded us together, so we formed a human alliance with no politics or economic structures, with only one goal; to find another home. After the Fleet was formed, we separated into 3 entities and traveled towards 3 possible habitable planets. Our fleet traveled towards Gliese 581 g, a world with a great promise. Those promises were shattered when we arrived on the planet Moon that we named Niflheim (World of cold in Norse mythology). The planet is majestic but it is inhabited by another civilization, probably a type III (Kardashev scale), Based on our current observation this civilization is part robot part biological and the planet is surrounded by an electronic type of shield that cancels any reading directed towards it. The Style The viewer is invited to make a step into the unknown, distant solar systems, planets and unexplored places. An imaginary world, blooming from the mind of the artist onto the canvas. That is what the story tells, a space journey inspired by the Sci-fi world of Asimov or C. Sagan. The technique is based on different styles of landscaping, modern techniques are integrated to give the viewer a feeling of wonder. On the other hand the abstracts are an intrusion into the mind of the viewer. Explosions of colors, fast color bursts and many layers of colors. You can almost feel the ‘’fight’’ that has taken place. But in all that chaos there is still a type of order. Just like in the Universe itself but this time it is a journey into your mind. Why do I paint? If I can make a person drift away in to the Cosmos for only just a minute, far away from the life we live and its construct then I have secretly succeeded. Or maybe you want to ask deeper question, for that you will have to dive into the blaze of my abstraction.
