A fingerprint has long been a common form of our self-identification. We leave our prints everywhere: on passports, gadgets, and many other devices that require our identification as individuals. But we never think about how the imprints of life events affect us, our appearance, our image of perception, and our reflection in the eyes of others. According to my observations, our face consists of imprints of our life experiences, forming our image. Over the years, we change, as the prints are superimposed on each other, erasing some of the obsolete and some completely erased, which provokes a change in our reflection. Time, like water, washes away from memory everything that has already been erased by new events, leaving only the most important for us. Do we want to see ourselves as we are? Do others see us as we see ourselves? These are the questions that came to my mind when creating this project. Many thoughts, searches, questions, and the feeling that part of our self-perception we always hide in the shadows. Work from the series "Identification" The work is stretched on a stretcher and ready for display.

I was born in Vinnytsia, Ukraine in 1988. As a child, I had a passion for painting, although there were no artists in the family or in the family in general. My first artistic experience was a circle of Petrykivka painting and a circle of painting on fabric, as a child, which gave rise to my creative path. In 2000 I enter a children's art school and begin to learn the basics of drawing, which later laid the love of art. In parallel with the art school, I enter the Higher Art Vocational School №5 in Vinnytsia, where I study the basics of advertising, ceramics, and wood painting. Since 2006. to 2012 I study at the Lviv National Academy of Arts at the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts, Department of Art Textiles (Weaving). I receive a diploma with honors and the title of Master of Textile Artist, researcher, teacher. I work in different styles and genres in search of my own artistic language. I am most fond of expressionism and impressionism.I develop in different genres of painting, most often it is nature, portrait, still life. I also work with textiles, own cold and hot batik techniques, free fabric painting, and patchwork. I am also fond of art photography. Searching in different techniques and styles gives me the opportunity to learn more about art in all its manifestations. The main topic I work with is self-identification, namely how a person identifies, perceives, sees. The path of self-knowledge and reflection of events on the outside. Do people see us exactly as we see ourselves? This topic became most acute during the quarantine period, when people began to spend more time alone, alone. The issue of non-acceptance, tax collection, self-disclosure is currently very relevant. Depression is massively consuming people wiping them off the face of the earth around the world. The main reason for this is an imbalance with oneself. It is this theme that is recalled in my works. This year I became a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. I see my creative path in the disclosure of this topic, which gives me the opportunity to find and get to know myself as an artist.
