About The Artwork
At first I was going to list this abstract as 'Untitled', at least until I came up with a title. Then at the spur of the moment when I uploaded it, I thought of 'Koi', hence the title. If you come up with an idea instead of 'Koi', you welcome to suggest it. It represents a lot of light and many colours as with many of my themes and depictions. Since the title is that of a fish, then one would perhaps be influenced to see clear water too, but the imagination is yours. This painting is approximately 3.7cm deep/thick on the sides which are painted in yellow ochre (light brown) and does not need to be framed. I hope you like it and thanks for your interest. Zeal.

Jason is a painter and illustrator of various styles and different media for different ends. Principally a surrealistic and abstract artist, he has a fondness for satire and caricature, with a hint of humour fantasy and the whimsical. Nevertheless, there is a realistic and a sober aspect to some of his work too. His different genres of works are ongoing series which are added to from time to time, whether it is his Aviary, Abstract, Allegoric or any other style he employs. World events, social affairs and politics draw his attention, but he can be inspired by everything and anything seen, heard or felt. His expression can be direct or ambiguous. What is prevalent throughout his work is light, movement and flow, hardly any black is employed, leaning towards enlightenment.
