This painted piece is inspired by a large area in Berlin, specifically 'Kottbusser Tor.' It serves as a social focal point, capturing the dynamism of the big city in Berlin Kreuzberg. The scene is both fascinating and lively, portraying the authentic social dynamics of the area. Homeless individuals, drug addicts, small shops, social housing, subway stations, food markets, and police all converge at this location. The motivation behind creating this painting stems from the observation of numerous homeless people's tents in the area. I incorporated my own scraps of posters into the artwork, although the majority of the picture is painted.

Andreas Wolff (born 1978) studied Fine Arts at the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin from 1998 to 2004. Since completing his studies, Andreas Wolff has actively engaged in the Berlin art scene. He has spent time in various studios, including self-managed autonomous artist communities such as Kunsthaus Tacheles, the BLO Ateliers, the Kolonie Wedding, and, since 2011, the RAW-Gelände in Berlin. These places often represent an experimental and collaborative approach to art production.
