Kropototemkin combines the author of "mutual aid" with the totemic figure of Moses. The somewhat surreal image that emanates comes from a digital treatment mixing the figure of Kropotkin and the Moses of Michelangelo, I transferred it on a printed sheet; and I played with the printed patterns to bring out flowers from Leonardo's skulls. These two elements at the base of the painting are kind of vanities from a skull study by Leonardo da Vinci. I sometimes use references to classical art in my painting, they blend with more modern or contemporary elements. Text in Zulu is inscribed in golden letters at the base of the vanities, it is a translation of a famous word of Droopy. I leave you the leisure of translation. I wanted a colorful and liquid appearance for the treatment of the central figure, to express the joy that can provide mutual help, and in my case, mutual assistance in creation. This painting is a tribute to artistic friendship and creation.
