This piece is an acrylic painting on wood pine paneling, it is equipped to hang doing so from a wire at the top. The works along with this body where developed from anything and everything I didn't get out from 2018 as a result I had failed to let this piece out and in 2019 it burst out of me onto the canvas. The statement for Kukulkan is: The narrative of the doctrine are its cloak. The simple look only at the the garment that is, upon the narrative of the doctrine; more they know not. The instructed, however see not merely the cloak but what the cloak covers. -The Zohar- Just like many of the works from this series there is a discombobulation a meshing of ideas and forms. I wish for the viewer to see any subjective matter that captivates them. I want my audience to want art for art; for the sake of art. I want my audience to feel an emotional response. This body of was evoked from me following a short holiday in Playa del carmen, Mexico. As you can see cultural and perhaps stylistic influences in the work. The work was done pine as it is local resource from my community and i reciprocate with my environment.

I make art because beauty calls me to my higher being. I specialise in dexterous manipulation of the external world, through paint on canvas among other things. My work relies heavily on my constant pursuit of balance. In the pursuit of balance, I am often found analyzing the negative space of the work. To maintain harmony, I must periodically retreat from painting all together and constantly re-discover my painting in the name of balance. In finding balance, I try to seek joy and beauty. I want art to be fun and exciting, changing with us as we grow. My art is about you and your interpretation of the world. My art is fun and vibrant on the surface while carrying symbolic gestures buried in our collective human psyche.
