This is my first painting in the city-line style. A bronze city with a golden glow in the lake. Faceless skyscrapers, one similar to the other. 5 p.m. Tired people come home after work. Monday is a hard day. The last glints of a bronze sunset are in the sky. The streets will soon become dark and cold. End of September … Do you feel the autumn cold and damp? Which name do you give to this city? The painting is made with metallic acrylic colors . Created on the framed canvas. The sides are accuratly painted black. This, in my opinion, gives to the painting a FINISHED LOOK & perfectly replace the additional decorative frames. The quality of the painting is glossy. Covered with protective varnish with a TOP shiny effect.

My love for drawing & painting comes from a distant childhood. When I was a little girl, already in kindergarten at the age of 5, the teachers praised me and I remember that my drawings & paintings really turned out better than others. All the horizontal surfaces of my house were littered with sheets of drawings with pencils, felt-tip pens, watercolor paints & wax crayons. I drew on the asphalt on the street, on the blackboard, even on the wallpaper in my room - wherever possible and with what I could. At the age of 15, I was an illustrator of a school newspaper, my works hung on the honor boards, and my drawing teacher sent me to all kinds of drawing & painting contests and Olympiads. Starting from the age of 13, I studied in various drawing & painting circles. At the age of 20, I graduated from a professional drawing school. Then there was a break for next 20 years... But the love of drawing has never cooled in me. In 2012, i drew a woman's face on a piece of paper with an ordinary ballpoint pen, and since I had a lot of free time during this period of my life, I decided to transfer the sketch with acrylic colors to a real canvas. It was my first portrait of a woman on a large canvas. When my best friend saw him, she froze and said: never sell this painting, you painted your own soul (see the profile picture)! I listened to her. This painting still hangs in my bedroom - I consider it my talisman, my guardian angel, my springboard, which allowed the volcano of creativity that has been bubbling in me for many years to break out. I threw myself into drawing. I remembered all the techniques that I was taught and constantly studied new techniques, learned how to combine them. I took professional courses in acrylic painting. Every time I finished a new painting, i knew exactly when the final touch was made. It's indescribable! They say that those people who do what they love all their lives are happy! I realized that painting is not only my favorite thing - it causes me not only joy but also euphoria and, of course, I tried to make it my main job. I am still looking for my style, I continue to update my knowledge and grow as an artist every day. I think this will continue until the end of my days. I always paint to music - it awakens great energy in me and helps to overcome the classic "artist's fear of an empty canvas".
