"I'm sure it was the Sea Cloud that I saw that early morning. Secretly sailing across the bay, quiet, oh ever so quiet. Only the cormorants and I saw its sails tucked in tightly and the glow of the masthead light. The seagrass said nothing, the red granite sat still. As I watched, desiring to share the moment, the sun peaked out and said good morning. And into the horizon, the Sea Cloud vanished." A nature filled and climate concerned painting inspired by Corsica's quiet landscapes. This piece celebrates those special corners of our world where silence can still be experienced. Acrylic, ink and oil pastel on canvas with a UV protective varnish. The work is signed on the front and the back of the painting. Ready to hang.
