About The Artwork
This one is so full. When I started this painting duet; it was because my children were in my painting. Scribbling on my work. Instead of getting cross at the little munchkin's graffiti, I embraced it. I integrated their painting in mine. It progressed and now I encourage their art. Now our duet has taken on a life of its own. I am starting to inhabit their imaginations. I see the details of the phenix and the three figures on the bottom left. The little knights and catapults dominating the dragon. The boundary between their painting and mine, between their lives and mine, is melting. We all stay home because of the pandemic. We play and live together in such a deeper way than we did in the before time. We are all soaring sharks and snarling dragons.
