VIEW IN MY ROOM
The characteristic of my artwork is its ability to transition across various mediums. It begins with sketches, then progresses to paper cutouts, sculptural forms in clay, and finally, oil paintings on canvas. Throughout this process, the paintings become abstracted, with the intention of evoking primal emotions and memories in the viewer. In this series, the liquid rain is trapped in the permanent time of the canvas, which is called "fossil," expressing the freshness, vitality of plants, and humidity of the forest.
