Raw Encounter Painting

This past summer, enchanted with the last few meters of this beautiful coloured burlap I found at my dear Monday market. I began a series at the seaside. The sand under the raw and open spaces make it possible to save the paint as well as inspire the base for a yet to be born work of art. This is the smallest work of this coloured burlap series. It contains raw leather pieces that contribute to its texture and has a bright blue frame on both sides. both pure textile that give it a tibetan flags feel. This is not a stretched piece nor is the blue part. There is moroccan bright thread woven through the work . This to contrast its rawness with its shiny bright green and gold. The work is a combination of many found and collected textiles, thread that I brought down from the attic as the painting spoke to me. The other part of the series is called path of Possibilities and is the last work uploaded to Saatchi.
