This artwork is part of a series "Russian Seasons in Paris". It reflects my profound love to ballet. The hand gestures are full of tenderness, love, timidity, innocence. Hand is one of my favourite symbols. Here we see that hands can tell a lot about her emotions. This colos scheme reminds of winter, frozen russian wooden windows with its lovely pattern.

My name is Daria Tikhomirova and I live and work in Barcelona. I'm inspired a lot by silk and I mostly work with this fabric. I love its' softness, transparency. It made me think if silk paintings with 3D effect. You may find one in my profile, it's "Russian Seasons in Paris" with 5 ballerinas. There are two layers of silk that create this effect of third dimension. I love ballet and I have a series of works with ballet dancers. I participated in the Salon des Artistes Français in 2016 and in Drouot sales (organised by musee MoLA). In 2018 I took part in the Salon des Artistes Indépendants in the Grand Palais (Paris). I regularly take part in exhibitions in Russia.
