SCHIZELA (FREAKINGELA) is a name for aerial attack warning sirene Serbian people invented during bombardment taken by NATO in 1999. SMIRELA (CALMELLA) was the name invented for the siren informing that the attack was over. The bombing started on 24. March 1999 and lasted for 78 days. The painting came out of me late on the night of 23/24 March 2024 as I couldn't sleep. Just the next morning I realized what date it was. Subcontines work in mysterious ways. I'm hoping pilots awoke too, at least. A watercolor creation depicts a stylized representation of a person with an exaggerated facial expression, featuring vibrant patches of red, brown, and green tones. The brush strokes are loose and abstract, contributing to a playful and whimsical interpretation of the subject.
