In "Parent", I tried to move away from the classic authority, teaching, or moralism, which carries the role of Parent. I wanted to find something deeper and more meaningful. In the process of painting, I was looking for the answer that would show me "what is my inner parent?", "What do I invest in this role?". The totem painted on the face expresses a radical reference to the genus, magic and tribe. When support was expressed not so much in words, pats on the shoulder or presence nearby, but in rituals, the divinity of the unknown, the spiritualization of the inanimate, the sharpness and sensitivity to signs. "Abstract Parent" is about the support that flows through the family through blood, spirits (spirituality), intuition and feelings. As through great-grandparents and great-grandparents, the universe guides me. On the embodiment of divinity in the genus. About pride is who I am. About the strength and wisdom of generations. Just imagine, for a moment, how behind you is not one or two parents, but a whole horde of majestic people. Doesn't that add fire to your existence and purpose?
