About The Artwork
Spinose is a false but common word for Spinal stenose which means narrow place in the spinal channel causing problems with nerves. Spinose is in plants morphologie the genereic term for thorns, spines, prickles, which describes pretty well the mood after receiving a diagnosis "Spinal stenose". I got one after an accident with the bike. In this painting I imagine how it sould feel and look when I have overcome this thread. There is a second painting on this subject: Spinose Prae showing the MRT of my spina. Comes with frame of wood and acrylic.
