An intense study of apples held by a hand. The natural scale of the objects to the hand adds a curious quality to the image and makes what we see appear mythical or dreamlike in some way. The appeal of the image is the notion that somehow beyond our understanding, despite recognising all we see, we are glimpsing a different or alternative world.
